"Good results come from a good understanding of our customers
and their needs; We devote a lot of time in the beginning to understanding
what you want to achieve, adding our own experience and creativity,
and planning something that is technically sound and within your budget."

PLANNING
We begin by inspecting the location and interviewing you. A visit to our other installations is sometimes useful in illustrating what can be achieved. Before work starts, we prepare a complete plan of the installation and discuss it with you.
AFFORDABILITY
At Worlds of Water we always provide a complete and guaranteed quote with no hidden extras. We source all equipment, fish and coral ourselves at preferential prices.
MAINTENANCE
Most of our customers want to enjoy their aquariums without the hassle of maintenance. Worlds of Water offers turnkey maintenance programs which normally include full cleaning, 30% water change, salt, food and new fish when required, starting at $79.95 a month. (All pricing is contract-specific and may vary based on, but not limited to, the tank size, location and type of inhabitants.)
TECHNOLOGY - We enjoy it when customers take an interest in the technical aspects of aquarium design because part of the beauty of a good installation is creating an illusion of "natural-ness".

PROTEIN SKIMMERS - Protein Skimming (air fractionisation) is a very important process for highly-populated saltwater aquariums, or for reef aquariums where the highest quality water conditions are favorable. The skimmer removes organic materials from the water before they enter the nitrogen cycle, thus lowering the overall nitrate level and keeping all the aquarium inhabitants in good health.
FUNCTION - The pump draws air in through a small tube, shreds it into tiny bubbles and mixes it with the aquarium water. The bubbles act like small magnets and pick up organic material within the water. When the mixture reaches the skimmer chamber, the air bubbles rise to the top and burst, depositing the organic material into the collection cup. The cleaned water returns to the aquarium.
SUMPS - On our larger systems we incorporate a sump tank. The sump can be used as a refugium for the many different animals that help clean the aquarium; in the sump they can live and prosper out of reach of predators in the main aquarium. The sump can also house unsightly equipment, leaving your aquarium looking more natural. We build our own custom sumps, with custom tops. Many store-bought sumps allow water to evaporate and condense on walls or heating ducts behind the aquarium, ultimately causing damage.
