Coral are beautiful, living invertebrates that can help us marvel at the wonders of nature and how truly complex our worlds of water truly are. The great variety of colors and shapes make corals an excellent way to truly make an aquarium that much more gorgeous than a fish only system. Above left is an example of a Sun Coral (Tubastrea Faulkneri), which looks uncannily like a sunflower. Above right is an excellent example of a mushroom coral. Their coloration is usually blue, green, red, or purple. Their texture can also vary from smooth to an almost hairy.
